Recs for a grand isle inshore charter captain

It's been awhile since I've really looked into an inshore charter in the grand isle area. Anyone go recently or last summer and a have a great experience? My old man doesn't get to fish much and I want to make sure he has a good time. This is for a June/July trout trip by the way

In June or July just about any guide down there should be able to put ya'll on a bunch of trout.

I used to work for Herk Bergeron when he worked for ISC.He was a nice guy and from what I hear is dang good at what he does now.He charters specks and reds in Grand Isle for the last few years now.I think he operates Pair O dice charters.

I second capt. Herk. Good guide. Dry humor. Polite. Will fish till you say you're ready to go in. Nice 24ft blue wave boat.

+1 in zutie. Dont have a liking for herk. Had a run in with him a few years back in the marina. Early morning we were docked and he came in like a bat outta hell slammed into my boat and didnt give a crap. Acted like he owned the place

Capt frank with laid back charters or mr Danny wray. He's a family friend very nice guy and knows that island well!
