Why are you worried about what this man is wanting to hunt with? Do we need to get the doll out so you can show us where the crossbow touched you?

Surf fished Grand Isle Saturday morning solo. Beautiful morning. The water wasn't as clean as it was last week but the fish were there. Had my 25 trout by 8:15. Didn't have to measure a fish.

There were a few "scavengers" on the beach trying to come up when I was re-tying and whatnot but I think I burned a hole through them with my eyes and they stopped.
I'm still not sure why a man cares about what another man is hunting with. The more legal weapons available, the more people that will stay engaged in hunting. While I don't think "primitive" is actually primitive anymore, I do think its a good thing to extend some hunters' seasons when they otherwise wouldn't be hunting. The fact that these newer weapons are more reliable and accurate than the old powder guns doesn't hurt either. I remember the older muzzleloaders and the "pie plate at 50yds" rule. Now if I can't hit a pie plate at 100yds, then I'm not using the gun. The end goal is to have an ethical kill and put food on the table for your family. If I can do that the most ethical way possible, then that's what I will do.
Someone in the public woods told me that this year after i killed a boar. "you shoulda cut the nuts off as soon as you killed it, it's worthless now." I laughed and told him thats not a thing.

re: Arizona - would you live there?

I'm currently working a few hours north of Phoenix. It's not too bad up here. There are plenty of outdoor activities to do for sure. Ton's of people with side by sides and plenty of places to ride them. I was surprised at the amount of hunters there are. There seems to be a ton of public land and plenty of places to go shoot your guns. I plan on doing some fishing in the next couple months. Not really sure where to start but I went to a National Park in Prescott and it looked like it held some fish. A lot of the lakes up here are stocked with trout regularly through the summer. I will be doing a turkey hunt in the Gila National Forest in western New Mexico in April (it's about 4-5 hours from Phoenix). I haven't killed a Merriam turkey yet so might as well check that off the list if I can while I'm here. I'm not sure if I'd live in Phoenix but one of the surroundings cities maybe.
It looks like they want to cry
There's no way they could get you on anything. Unless it had a collar or a giant tag hanging out of its ear, then maybe. The burden of proof would be on the owner proving that you knew it was one of his "livestock". I've hunted high fence places before and asked the ranch manager what they do if deer get out. He said some of the ones get killed and there's not much they can do to prove that the hunter knew it was one of theirs. He said it sucks but he'd do the same thing if he was in the hunters place.
I'm just happy that this is the last time that we are forced to hear Hayleigh kissing Julie's arse.
God I wish Haleigh would stop complimenting Julie. Just go home, you can’t win this game.

I read this thread every day. You guys have been great with the updates. I missed the show last night, did they finally give Angela any credit? You wouldn't know she exists if you only watched the show on tv.

The biggest problem with GI is the amount of people fishing there now

**the amount of people with little to no respect for other fishermen fishing there now.

The guys that ride around on golf carts on the island and stalk guys catching fish. I had a guy run up on me last week while I was on a good bite. He actually walked right beside me and stopped 20-30' right in front of me (where I was casting). Then he wanted to have a conversation after he ruined the bite. If my 5 year old wasn't with me I may have slapped him with my fishing pole. I'm not sure if it's simple ignorance or they just don't care.

JC seems surprisingly less annoying than i expected.

The "aura" chick talking shite and calling somebody an idiot seems hypocritical.

Swaggy and the flight attendant are racing to be the most annoying

The fitness model, the show girl and the farm girl =

Agreed
Sam and Rockstar don't seem like they will fit in
Right now i'm pulling for Winston

I used to hunt off of Burbank. I've killed a few over there with my bow. I don't imagine they are all that uncommon around there.
This topic reminded me of a day a couple of years ago. I pulled up at the Wal-Mart in Galliano and there was a decent looking bay boat in the parking lot. Me being naturally curious, drove by the boat slowly to see what it was. When I looked at the rods in the center console rod holders, there prominately displayed, were 8 Zebco 33's in what appeared to be mint condition.
Yes it does look very similar. Mine had a little more orange in it than that one. Really aggressive fish. He was not going to let a senko get by him. I filleted him with the bass and I know it had a nice fillet on it.
I caught a really pretty bream this weekend and wasn't really sure what kind it was. Looks kinda like a mixture of a few different types. If I knew how to post pictures on here I'd put him up.

Live shrimp under a cork is the easiest. I was also catching them bouncing a shrimp colored plastic on a jighead off the bottom.
