Kinda.

Man if yall want to miss out on the superior shotgun on the market because yall can't figure out how to operate it go ahead.

Just put a shell in and press the button. Quit intentionally fricking it up.

dont understand this. You drop a shell in and press the button. Everything that happens after that is the exact same as shooting. Are they trying to ease the bolt forward or something?same person every time?

I have been having a sbe2 since 06 and the first couple of times it happend to me was all from me trying to “sneak” a shell in either to creep geese or in a stand or moving in on some pigs and taking a fine shot out an loading a slug.
I’m ocd about checking it now and while it can just come out of battery I don’t know if it’s ever just happened by bumping it. It was all from being “sneaky”
To the OP I have shot the M2 and own a SBE2, inertia and the benelli action is bullet proof buy with confidence.

Who is saying this? Dude, you're reading shite into my posts that aren't there. You're coming off more unhinged than normal and on a topic you obviously know nothing about

I know exactly what's going on. I just don't understand why it keeps coming up.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I will clarify, but I think he meant it was new or maybe shot once or twice and he has no use for it. That’s why I didn’t think 1k was a bad price. I’ll see if I can get him down to 900.

Man up and carry a 137lb Remington 1100 like the rest of us.

Jk

My boys make fun of me because I carry around a light weight youth mossberg 20ga pump. I let let them carry both of the Remingtons, they like to brag that they can carry them all day squirrel hunting and never break a sweat. Oh well I still out shoot their asses every time.

$1000 for a practically new M2 is a good deal. Paying a small premium to avoid a national database is money well spent.

I dont think it's too bad. I haven't seen a new M2 or even a montefeltro for $1,000 in quite a while.

I would get that M2 from him rather than a new one.

They came out with a newer version of the M2 this year, and I think the previous version is better

I’m a NSCA shooter with lots of rounds through lots of auto loaders.

The benelli click is way overblown and easy to avoid. I wouldn’t let it stop you from buying a great gun.

Sometime it would happen doing the push on my hk but I learned to push the bolt forward.

I've shot Benelli for years both 12 and 20. I can count on one hand how many times it has happened with me. I've seen it happen quite a few times and its 100% always from either someone easing the bolt forward when loading it or the bolt sliding back a little from the gun being sat down on the buttpad too hard. The wolff spring solves both these issues. Every single M2 I have ever shot, handled, or shouldered all have a sluggish bolt. The spring upgrade makes the bolt slam home like an old Auto 5. Definitely worth the $12 and 15 minutes it takes to install it

Ive noticed that if you use a dry lube like Hornady one shot, benelli bolts seem to cycle a lot faster than with oil based products.

I’ve had cordoba, ethos, super sport, and M2’s at some point. Still have the Córdoba 20 and super sport 12 on original factory springs with no issues and well over 100k rounds through the cordoba.

If someone said I could only have one twenty gauge for the rest of my life, it would be a Benelli M2.

Great guns lots of my buddies shoot them. I tried a 12 ga couldn't get it to fit me as well as a beretta, even w shims etc. If it fits you, buy it.
