Walter Birdsong's Black-T, with variants, OD Green, Desert Tan & Dark Earth Brown is a fantastic finish.

No it's not lol. I just found a lower today that I may grab just to have.

Got all my parts now pretty much. I think I'm going to do the kak shockwave pistol setup until I get my sbr stamp stuff sorted out. The rail is stupid lite love it.

I think I've just about decided that I'm going to put that Solo lite rail on my SBR project. Looking forward to seeing pics of your completed project.

Just ordered a Polymer 80 to try out. I've got plenty of unused 7075 lowers but i thought I would try the polymer out and move my 22LR build to it. $50 each from MagCommander with the jig and all of the mills/drill bits with a coupon code they listed at cal guns. Won't use their crappy plastic Jig will be my Modulus Arms jig instead.

Vince did a fantastic job with the custom Cerakote color…it turned out better than expected, and the price was around 200 for the upper/lower/rail. The total AR build price was about 1150, minus optic, mount, and cerakote.

Welcome to the black rifle disease. Careful, they tend to multiply like rabbits.

Before the tragic boating accident, I took a few pics of my AR15.

Bushmaster lower (pre 1994 Ban), Colt 20" 1/7 HBAR, Walter Birdsong's Black-T & OD Green (two tone).

Sorry the pics didn't show...

Picked up my Scar 16 today. Cant wait to put a few rds through it. Got a pretty good deal considering they are scarce right now. Came with a Gissele Super ScAR trigger. Going to have PMM chop the barrel to 14 and pin/weld SOCOM brake.

Ok gents I'll soon be one of you.....I'll be designing my own AR this week with the help of a friend who has 3 of them.

And before I buy any of the parts my wife wants to thank you for all of the money I'll soon be spending

Thanks. I figured that if I wanted one I better go ahead and pull the trigger. FN isn't importing any right now and if Hillary gets elected the fear is that importation of firearms like the SCAR are going to cease.

Certain critical components are made in the US by FN Manufacturing (FNM; Columbia, SC), and are shipped to FN Herstal (Belgium) for final assembly and mating to a receiver, test fire, etc. Military guns are shipped in final configuration to the contract authority; civilian guns are shipped in 922r-compliant dress to the US and are re-worked for legality to allow folding stock, threaded muzzle, etc.
