Oh this gone be good.

Mandatory evacuation for the few houses in Cash Point.

Fishing is banned on the side of Arthur Teague. I almost took some bitches arm off when she was getting her pole out of the back of the Rav4 the other day. There were 50 (no exaggeration) fricking cars on the side of the road Saturday.

Fishing is still open on the side of Clyde Fant though.

In the 80s, the Ms. got all the way to the levee at river road. Me and a friend bought about 5 lbs of crawfish, peeled the tails and caught channel/blue cat all night. Those were some expensive filets.

Looks like most gauges are showing a drop now. Ours should start a slow fall mid week.

Did anyone see this? They built a levee so they could host an event and the levee broke.

More than 100 people rescued after personal levee breaks in Colfax

KALB - Colfax, Louisiana - More than 100 people have been rescued after a personal levee broke Sunday morning in Colfax.

According to the Grant Parish Sheriff's Office, a personal levee at Louisiana Mudfest in Colfax was breached around 2 a.m. Sunday.

Grant Parish Sheriff Steven McCain tells News Channel 5 that 113 people had to be rescued. There have been no reported injuries.

That personal levee was built a few weeks ago by the owners of Mudfest to protect the recreational park from the rising Red River.

Sheriff McCain said two deputies were working security detail at Mudfest Saturday night during an entertainment event. He said one of those deputies noticed a crack in the personal levee. That’s when deputies started moving people to higher ground. Sheriff McCain said within moments, the levee breached and the Red River began flowing into Mudfest.

Deputies, Louisiana National Guard, and Wildlife and Fisheries Agents rescued 113 people from the area between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. Sunday. The Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness also responded to the event.

But, not everything could be saved.

"All their four-wheelers, ATVs and UTVs and cars and trucks are up on this high hill and it's basically like a small island including one of our own. The sheriff's office vehicle is trapped on this high island and it's going to be there until the river goes down which may be a long time," said Sheriff McCain.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Officials also rescued three dogs from the flooding.

LA Mud Fest goers will be glad when the water does go down - they'll have a revamped mudhole where they can tear their shite up.

Wow so all of their vehicles, including a sheriffs rig are stuck on an island until the water goes down?

Wow. Ive never been there but certainly seen the clientele that get injured out there. That place makes a killing financially tho. $100 says they will throw a party after the water levels drop and make more money.
