As a DJ I can say what you are asking is basically what speakers you need to go with you laptop any set from guitar center. As far as mixing and scratching sounds like this is something you might want to stay away from if you are not trying to be a DJ and just want to hit play on a playlist. Any DJ equipment will require tons of hours to learn which sounds like you are not interrested in..As other stated its a reason people hire us so they can mingal and entertain

I would check the converter first..had some of the same issues on the wifes Explorer got it fix now it runs like a champ

Yes I will be covering a big area. Would prefer something that I can attach to the hose..trying to keep the bugs out the home and off the dogs as there is no fence around the house

espn has a package that you can watch the games live on. I think only 2 games weren't on that package last year while I was deployed because the game was on CBS. like $20 a month but you get all college games on ESPN
