Possible solutions: If you are battling wild hogs, you will need a nice place to drag the carcasses. That property line seems like a great place.

Also, you might find you enjoy riding around your property during hunting season in the early mornings and late afternoons.

I have a similar situation, Guy has 3 acres and hunts literally on the prop line that comes to a point between me and another land owner. Not much you can do honestly. If the guy is like my guy, he will do more harm than good if you jack with him.

I've talked with the GW which is a friend of mine and was told there's not much you can do unless you think he is hunting illegally (night, no license), which I think he is doing both plus killing more than he is supposed to but, I won't take the risk of jacking with him because my teenage son and elderly FIL hunt there alone alot.

Good luck

Doesn't mean you have to. I'd go put some very noticeable and obvious NO TRESPASSING signs all along your property lines.

Having a good relationship with the guy that borders you is better than not.

Let the guy go get a deer? I'm pretty sure you do have to let him attempt to retrieve it.

Even if you dont HAVE to, what kinda dick doesn't?

Build a small stand on your property directly across from his blind. Outfit it with solar power & play a radio max volume 24/7. Since it’s on your property so you can do whatever. Tit for tat.

So a guy that is legally hunting his own property needs to be messed with? What the hell is wrong with people. Just dont be an a-hole is a pretty good rule to live by.

Because unless we are understanding it wrong he is set up to hunt the other properties instead of trying to hunt his.

Like Rando said, hunt the center and make the edges bedding which is doable on 10 acres.

Having a stand set you can hunt more of the neighbors property that you own is dick.

Probably could've been avoided if 10 acre guy would've went to 150 acre guy and simply said, "Hey I'm wanting to put a blind on my 10 acres but it will have to be by the property line. I wanted to check with you first to see what you're comfortable with. The last thing I want is to piss off my neighbors"...... "Oh btw, if I wound a deer would you mind if I jump across and get it real quick?"

As if it needs to be said again, I can hunt every inch of 10 acres with a rifle. I disagree with the idea that hunting the property line means he is hunting your property.

The one thing hunting the line also does is that it makes it the easiest to know exactly when the animal is legal. Furthermore, if you are hunting off the line and shooting toward the line you are going to be shooting into someone else's property. If you are hunting the line then you are more likely to be shooting into your property or down the line.

Your best move OP, is make your property line thick on your side. Go plant some trees: cypress, magnolias, cedar, etc. that are almost impossible to see through. Its a great long term solution anyway.

Judging from a few folks on here I'd say there is a good chance he has posted on the thread. Legal are not it is a dick move plain and simple, him calling and lying about his arrangement with the previous owner confirms that idea. I'd clear cut what ever you need to on your property and pile it up on the fence line, go by the barber shop once a week and collect their clippings and spread down the fence line when ever you go out there. Last but not least plenty of signs and cameras, make sure cameras are in a lock box, buddy of mine suspected a neighbor of trespassing but camera never saw anything, he put up a second hidden camera and caught the guy deleting pics off the first camera as he left out.

He won't be just hunting the property line. The stand is just on the property line. The guy is going to be hunting 3/4 of the way around his stand on other people's property and 1/4th on his own property.

It could be worse... hopefully this neighbors 10 acres was not inherited as an "undivided interest" and you have 5, 6, or even more "undivided interest owners" assholes wanting to hunt it. Complete cluster frick.

That makes almost no sense. Yes, it is doable but not very smart.

May not be smart but it is more neighborly.

It's obvious your 10 acre neighbor "Kenna-brah" has no intention of moving his blind or feeder. Is it a dick move ? Sure as there are lots of weekend warriors that have no respect or courtesy for their neighbors. As long as his bullet doesn't cross your property line and he does not enter onto your property he's legal. If you're worried he's gonna trespass, then mark your property line with appropriate signs, purple paint on trees or T-posts, and set out live trail cameras facing his blind and feeder to catch him in the act.

Have you asked him to move his blind and feeder 50 yds off the property line ?
