First look into the distance a feeder and or blind can be on/from a property line. I would talk with him (face to face) and express your displeasure with the location of the blind and feeder. Let him know you will have multiple cameras to monitor your property line. Also make it clear you will call green jeans if an issue arises. If that does not work then burn the blind and push the feeder over. I also liked the cell camera riding the property line idea if things go south.

Put a blind and feeder directly across his. On the property line.

Not sure I get the point you're trying to make? What does that have to do with anything? This guy hasn't taken anything of IB's has he? The neighbor isn't on IB's property, right? Just closer than IB wants him to be.

Can we get clarification here? You say the feeder is "on the property line". Who's property is the feeder on? Is the feeder on IB's property at all? Or is it 100% on the neighbors own property?

If it's on IB's property even by a foot, that's a problem.

I think a few cameras at the property line should suffice. Yes he's well within his right to be upset over it and want to keep the neighbor off HIS property. But is it worth his time to anguish over it constantly? Especially if he's not even hunting deer? I'm not saying the neighbor should be able to whatever he wants. I'm saying that sometimes we get ourselves caught up into insuring someone doesn't do whatever it is we don't want them to do that we end up with the problem. Put up the cameras and if you see him on your property then call the appropriate authorities.

I'd rather not have the headache and hassle over worrying about something that didn't affect me. What good is owning 150 acres if you're going to always be stressing over things that aren't even happening yet?

If a deer drawn to feed on the corn dropped by the feeder has a 50-50 probability, or even 1%, of standing on the OP's property while feeding, and the entire area is within the field-of-view from the stand, it is not unreasonable to be concerned that there is intent to shoot deer on the OP's property.

I would certainly look to see what the regs are where you are regarding placement of blinds or feeders near the property line and enforce.

If there are no such guidelines, at the very least your neighbor should not be dropping corn on your side of the line.

If there is ongoing cause for concern, the OP is well within his rights to use scent methods on his side of the fence line to make that entire area unpleasant for deer

I don't care what he does on his 10 acres. He should just hunt it. He has no other blinds on his property. Tell me just which property do you think he is hunting??

My property borders another very large privately held piece of land so there are a lot of deer moving across the properties. It is very likely that if he set up in the middle of his ten acres and managed for deer he could shoot as many as he wants.

I don't mind any of the other three land owners that border me coming onto the property to retrieve wounded deer because I am not suspicious of their claims. They don't hunt my property line. If they shoot one it will have been shot on their property.

I will handle it one way or another. I doubt green jeans is going to want to spend any time on it. I know several of the wardens. High fence is not out of the question. I really don't care how many deer he shoots---I just don't want him shooting onto my property. He clearly intends to do just that.
