If the blind and feeder are facing his property I'd have no problem with it. He's just trying to maximize his 10 acres. Or you can go put a blind on the other side of the fence from his..

Exactly.

It always annoys the shite out of me when these suburban hell living people want land owners to treat their land as public land.

I'm sorry? Did you contribute money to this? Did you buy it? No? Then frick off.

With this argument the 10 acre guy should be able to tell you not to setup close to his property line b/c you may shoot in the direction of his 10 acres with a high powered rifle. Maybe that makes him uncomfortable??

That’s bush league on his part. He’s using your bedding areas to hunt deer that his property can’t hold. you should high fence his entire property line. That way wounded deer won’t run onto your property and you will disrupt them leaving your property to go to his feeder. You should also set up another feeder and make sure yours goes off at the same time as his.

Put up a high fence. It's the OT thing to do.

Just make sure he knows there will be tariffs on any deer that he has to retrieve from your property.

He's only got 10 acres so pretty much anywhere he hunts will be on a property line. Just let the man hunt, not everyone can afford 150 acres.

There's millions of acres of public land in this country. He's free to hunt it all he wants.

Exactly. The ground blind literally borders me on two sides. Exactly on the land line that does a ninety right there. The feeder is probably 50 yards down the fence line with one leg on the the property line.

Man you guys are some real assholes. He's got 10 acres and he wants to hunt it. Have some outdoorsman spirit.

Put a cell game camera up to watch to see if he crosses onto your property. There isn't anything illegal about him hunting on the property line even though it can be poor sportsmanship.

there can be, depending how close to the line you are and which state you are in.

MS is 50 or 100 feet from the property line IIRC

what about the people that want to hunt my property??? Shouldn't he give them a little room?

Maybe you can make a deal with me and assume the liability of his actions on my property since you see nothing wrong with it.

Instead of crying on a message board talk to the guy and work it out.

He's on his property, what liability are you talking about? If he shoots over the fence and shoots someone on your property? What if someone hunting your place shoots over your fence and hits a hunter on the 10 acres?

The argument goes both ways. You don't get special treatment b/c you have more acreage than him.

I can see why it would be aggravating... you're probably of the mindset "he's killing MY deer". But they aren't yours

I have already told him not to hunt the property. I ain't crying. I am just trying to be creative with solutions as he is clearly going to be a problem.

as long as he is hunting on his side and not shooting across the line it is a non issue, want to start trouble, set up a cell camera on his blind and every time he hunts it go ride the property line , but trouble with neighbors is not worth the headache , make friends with him, invite him over for dinner and beers and see what yall have in common vs fighting

This. I'm not sure why the OP wants to start shite

Because he strongly suspects the neighbor will be actively hunting and shooting onto his property. It's very easy to say the deer ran onto your property when no one witnesses the actual shooting.
