I'da run away, me. I'm a pansy when it comes to sneks and stingy things tho.

I don't like snakes, but people need to work on ID'ing snakes before the kill harmless ones.

It was non-venomous. I wouldn't have killed it. Looks like some kind of water snake.

Hell I’m suprised she didn’t shoot it with her Glock She joked about shooting it with her pistol but didn’t want to pay to have the holes fixed.

She’s used to snakes because I always caught snakes growing up and kept them for pets.

I was always killing something, catching somehting or rescuing something. I found a momma possum that got ran over and took the babies home and put it in our dog crate

And she should kill it again and again and again.

She’s a 71 year old woman who lives by herself 75% of the time on 60 acres. She’s not out killing snakes in the yard. The damn thing came into the house.

Nerodia erythrogaster aka Plain Bellied Water Snake or Yellow Bellied Water Snake. Completely understand why your mother shot him out of fear but I can assure you she wasn't attacked by this harmless snake.
