I spend a decent amount of time in Monterey, I was there last weekend. Its backwoods but not near as bad as some places.

That's unnerving.

Then you have Larto with all the inbred hoop fishermen, and the illegal white perch crime ring a number of years ago.
You mean the one described in the book Game Wars by Marc Reisner? The book documents top cases of poaching picking 1 from each state. The Lake Larto white perch crime ring was the one chosen from Louisiana.

Avoyelles is the only one i have personal experience with. Nothing happened to me, but two camps side by side that friends own had stuff happen. Had a window broken out and a running water hose put in. Busted the gates down, did donuts in the camp yard, set the firewood pile on fire. The bad thing is they had no communication with anyone from there to make enemies. When i went everything i owned came back home with me.

Have a friend that used to work in collections for GMAC.. he said if they had a repo in Zwolle they would just charge it off and not bother to send a repo man.. this after sending one and never hearing from him again
Louisiana doesn't repo.

Very true I unfortunately have kinfolks that live in Pitkin and they are all crazy out there. Everytime I went out there something crazy happened.
My dad is originally from the Pitkin/Elizabeth area, and I'm from ville platte so between the two areas I know all kinds of outlaws!

Castor just south of Ringold and the surrounding area is like stepping back in time. There are people living in those woods around our deer lease that I have no idea what they do to survive or how they maintain life. Very odd.

There is a long list that fit the description.
Sikes, Jackson par they grow a lot of weed down there and don't mess with the Simons.
Toledo bend area is very bad. If you have ever been to the 8 ball you know what I mean. Those people are very friendly until the sun goes down or you talk to one of their women.
Eros, Jackson par, it's nothing like it used to be in the 80s and 90s. Me and my kin folk were some of the culprits. Chatham was just as bad back then to.
Campti, anyone remember the Cherokee club?
Columbia has a lot of outlaws in that area.
As some one said earlier Pea ridge. I know a few ole boys that got the shite beat out of them there.
Bayou Sorrel, I worked there for a few months and we were warned right off the bat. Do not go to any of the local bars after dark. With a name like the Blood and Bucket they didn't have to tell us twice. First time I was ever offered drugs to buy was by a big fat hairy coonass in bib overralls, no shirt or shoes. He was selling pills. I was a little nervous over that, but luckily it was still daylight. He looked like the dude off swamp people with the dog but had more hair.

Yeah, I'm surprised I haven't seen any stories about Evangeline Parish.

Bayou Sorrel
I have been to a lot of bars that people say not to go to, and for the most part, people frick with you just to laugh at how you react. Typically those nights ended up in a big brawl though, but I can't say I didn't have a good time
