It was today, but I'll lump it in with the Weekend Report.

Caught 25 bass and 2 slabs from 9am-1pm today. Caught 17 and 1 sacaulait on a fluke, several more and another slab on a spinnerbait. Biggest five bass measured 20, 19, 18, 18, 18. The 2 slabs were each 13". Kept my 6 bass over 14" and the sacaulait. Helluva way to spend a Monday.

Went out with Captain Josh out of Cocodrie today. Limit by around 11:30. Average size 14-15” with a few hammers mixed in. We were throwing 17” trout back at the end trying to catch a few reds. It was a perfect day.

Yes trout are thick on Curlew, Breton, and Chandeleur Islands. Freemason has been hit or miss mainly miss

I’ve wanted to fish the Chandelier Islands my whole life. Made as far as Breton a couple of times, but never all the way out

Fished Delacroix today and caught 45-50 redfish and a handful of bass. The fishing gods finally allowed the conditions to align where I could catch a few sight casting. I forgot how fun that is.

Friday’s haul was big trout, 2 man of reds and some bonus pompano, also some sheeps not in pic

Sunday headed out to explore the islands and chandy...put together a decent box at a few spots. Water was nice at chandy but kinda dirty at other islands.

Has anyone been fishing Galveston West Bay? I made a trip out on Sunday and got skunked. Wind was brutal.
