Knife sharpening tools/kits

I have a whet stone with two different grains as well as a lanskey tool that I use very effectively for small pocket knives, but I’ve been looking at either the Work sharp knife and tool sharpener or the Wasabi mountable kit.
Does anyone have recommendations or preferences for a blade sharpening kit mainly for kitchen and pocket knives?

My Lansky handles my small, EDC knives, hunting knives, and all kitchen/utility knives

I have work sharp. Would buy again.

I use a Lansky. But I don't sharpen knives as often as I used to. I use an electric for fish and a Havalon for deer and elk.

You cannot beat worksharp. Razor sharp in seconds

Have had warthogs for years and love them, keep one in kitchen and run my chef knife through it regularly
Just got a work sharp ken onion as a gift, it is a whole new level, will bring an old neglected knife back to razor sharp in no time

I've got the Work Sharp Ken Onion belt sharpener and I spent fifty years claiming to be a stone, steel, ceramics, leather, by hand, purist.
I can't do what this thing can in a couple of minutes. Just make sure you've got a good selection of grits, and know how to maintain the correct angle on the pull through and stop it in mid stream. Keeps the tip sharp, angle straight. You can put a stupid edge on damn near anything post haste.

I like the Work Sharp. Buy extra grits/belts, practice first on old knives and learn to free-hand with it. I bought a leather belt for it from Amazon and once they’re sharp the leather is all you need for maintenance.
I did just get a Work Sharp Precision because I have a knife in S90V and regular abrasives won’t do much with it. Still sorting it out and it’s nowhere near as quick as the power belt but it’s also a lot harder to make mistakes with it you have some nicer blades.

I use the Work Sharp Ken Onion edition for knives that are super dull or have damaged blades.
I use a Spyderco Sharpmaker for touching up knives that just need a quick sharpen but aren't ultra dull.

We don't have expensive knives in the kitchen. Maybe a $50 set. I use the work sharp on them, my pocket knives, fillet and game knives with no complaints.
I've bought some aftermarket belts on amazon with lower grits and used those on my axe, splitting maul, cutting mattock. Its great.

Work sharp. Considering upgrading to the Ken Onion model.

Warthog will mar the finish on the blade. Lansky and a real strop with lapping compound can’t be beat. If you just want another toy, Worksharp.

I have some wet stones and used them pretty exclusively for a long time. Went to cabelas and saw the worksharps set up for demo. Ran my pocket knife through one and holy crap it was sharp. After one pass on each side. In a few seconds. Plan to get one of those on a Black Friday deal if I can find one.

This has been me for the same duration. I saw a Work Sharp not long ago and thought it was interesting; the number of positive comments in this thread have me ready to get one myself.

Work sharp .... easy fast and super sharp. Save purple belts and use with bore polish for surgical sharp edges. See you tube
