Saw 4 this morning. 2 does each with a yearling but no fawns. I’m here hunting solo and didn’t want to fool with cleaning one. Next weekend will be a different story. We need to thin the doe herd.

Ouachita Parish
Mathews V3X 33 with SEVR 2.0 hybrids
Around 80 degrees
Hang on tree stand

I’m hunting the 600 acres I have access to. I’m just inside the tree line looking into the ag field. Corn stalks have been growing again.

I sweated my butt off earlier when replenishing the feed but figured I may as well get another sit in. I have a couple shooters on cam but they haven’t daylighted on camera yet. Not expecting much but it’s a pretty day. Hoping the clouds cover the sun soon though.
