If there is a Ruger 10/22 Takedown in there with a non-stainless receiver, I'll buy it.

I would find a gun dealer that does consignment sales. You can agree on a minimum price on each one. He will attempt to sell at a good price for you. He gets a percentage of selling price. If you can not locate a good guy contact me and I will give you a dealer to speak to.

I hope this is the ultimate troll and this dude waits until tomorrow and posts a pic of some ultra rare antique Single Action Army or a Purdy SxS just so I can watch the board stumble all over itself trying to be the one to buy it.

In fact, I shouldnt have said anything and come on here as a recent widow and done that. It would be awesome.

My Mom's husband died and left me some guns. Long and hand guns. I'm looking for a reputable place to sell them and add to Mom's retirement money. I'm in the New Orleans area. I figured I'd come here instead of the crap shoot Google is. Thanks in advance.
I know it's probably not the most popular thing to suggest here, but it might make you the most money:

Find out
A) what you have. Gun by gun.

B) how to list on Gunbroker(dot)com. It's an online gun auction, basically the Ebay for guns.

With the market we're in right now, putting guns available to a national market like gunbroker is likely going to get you the most return.

And if you have something collectible, then the collectors (who DO scan that service) will see it, and if you're lucky enough a couple will go to war bidding against each other.

Good fortune. It’s a seller’s market if there ever was one.

Let me know if you have any WWII rifles.

Well this thread is just full of cruel and unwarranted behavior.

We don’t put up with that here OP, do the right thing and post the list, or pics.

Dury's Guns in San Antonio. Take a look at their website and call to discuss your collection.
If you don't like what you hear, don't use them.
