I never fished one but they have good reputations from what I have heard. Check our the message board “The Hull Truth” and do an inquiry there. Lots of info on them.

They were very popular about ten years ago. Saw them every time I went to the coast. A dealer in Gonzales sold them. I am not sure why but they stopped dealing Triton. Don’t see very many now. Maybe because there is a lot more competition in the bay boat market now and no one replaced the Gonzales dealer. I dunno.

Never rode on it yet. Closer to $100,000. He has 2 Zuk 150s on it, that's $40,000 right there.

The straight edges and flat bottom of the cat hulls makes me cringe a little

I imagine any kind of chop at all would be hell in that boat...... Great inshore boat though.

Does he have a camp in Dulac or fish there often? I’ve been seeing one all summer

Y’all think bay boats are expensive now? Take a look at the prices of new flats/poling skiffs. 18’ with a 60-90hp are averaging out around 40k with most over 50.

Hell’s Bay>$80,000
Friends have tideline 25 and paid over $100,000 used. He has a peg leg and can’t handle mono hull. Boats are probably the least used luxury item a man can buy. The

Haynie 24HO. Merc 250 on there and you could probably get 55mph for runs to Timbalier.

Sold mine for family reasons but comfortably handled 2.5’ seas in the bay.

I have a Hydra Sport 23 Bay bolt and I think they are highly underrated bay boats. It has a F300 on it and cruises about 30 depending on sea conditions getting 2.1 or 2.2 mpg loaded with 5 guys to fish. It is a heavy boat that rides incredibly well for its size. We fished it up to 41 miles south of D.I. this pats weekend for 3 days. Anyone who fished this past weekend knows conditions were not bad but definitely not great. I wish I had the coin to upgrade to your KW, I love those Billistic hulls. Maybe we can trade even

You would get pounded more in that boat than Rock Hudson did. Glorified flat is all that thing is.

I have a 2017 Triton 240 and love it. I take my kids a good bit and opted for the hard T Top. It rides very, very well and has a ton of storage and the front deck is massive. You can easily fish three people (who know what they're doing) up there.

I have done some near-shore mangrove fishing in it on calm days and it has done very well. I have been very happy with it overall

I do believe that American Aluminum is owned by the Gravois family. The old Gravois boats were great boats but they stopped building them when they started Metal Shark.
