I went out the weekend before Thanksgiving, didn't get anything and only saw a few deer. I went out again yesterday and only saw a young doe and buck, nothing else.

I was soooo nervous, but got this guy right before sunrise, you can see my beanie is askew.

The first picture looks a little wonky because my phone was zoomed I went I took the pic

Looks like some good eating.

Like that wonky twist on the left side of his rack.

Congrats, baw. That’s a good looking funky rack. Throw those back straps and tenderloins on the grill for NYE.

Thanks. I'm getting a euro mount of this one.

I was just so relieved that he went down immediately. I thought I missed until I looked again and saw him laying there twitching a little.

That’s a wall hanger in my book

I’ve been tracking a buck similar in size all season and have yet to see him during daylight hours. I went out of town earlier this week and when we landed, I got a notification from one of my trail cams. It was the buck at one of my feeders

Yes, this one was in Bandera. Below is the thread from before Thanksgiving. There was another one a little bigger that was seen a couple of days before, but I didn't want to chance waiting and not getting anything.
