There are a few of them in Monroe. If see one by 165 every once in a while when I lived there.

Used to see one down in New Orleans as a kid every Saturday morning.

Just west of Greenwood Mississippi on a hunting lease. Seen them pretty regular in or near the pine thickets.

I see them in Jackson and Winn Parish fairly regularly. I would say about once a month. Always booking it across the road.

I've seen 2-3 in southern Catahoula Parish. I'm told they are somewhat common up in the "hills" of northern Catahoula.

I've seen them in Shreveport area in early 2000's. Didn't realize they were spreading east. Cool birds to watch.

I've seen them in our hay field in union parish and pipelines that crosses our land in both Claiborne and Lincoln parishes

Don't see too many people mention Claiborne parish. Got a lot of family up there, land is in between homer and haynesville not far from David Wade prison

About 3 miles west of Lincoln parish line, 1 mile north of Lincoln parish.

Ever heard of dubach,, Lisbon, Bernice, or corinth. I literally grew up less than 5 minutes from them all.
