Six page thread on why we don’t want a new board, awesome

While you’re adding boards, can you add a F150 board? There’s as many threads on those POS as there is on lawn and garden on front page. Perhaps move kayak stuff to soccer board.

A lot of the automotive stuff on this board is related to the outdoors, whether it’s a good tire that will get you on to the hunting camp on a muddy road, or which vehicle is the best at hauling various equipment and toys used for the outdoors, vehicles are apart of discussions here for a reason. This board isn’t discussing the newest model Telsa or Prius

I will say, I’m not fond of there being 3 separate weed identification threads posted on the front page in addition to the lawn care thread, on a near daily basis, but that is due more to the poor search function and lack of enforcement on starting similar threads, which could be addressed through stickies rather than starting a new board.

Woodworking, home building and repair, outdoor kitchens, gardens, and even pools are some of the best and most valuable threads on this board, that’s without mentioning the cooking of wild game and enjoying a beverage, since the food and drink board is pretty pretentious

Please don’t do this! This board gives legit answers to anything outdoor and home related. Things you can’t put on the ot because people will give ot type answers. Everyone here is on the same page and if you move those topics to another board, guys might not be checking both.

Yup, I've changed my mind.

That was what I was suggesting, but a lot of posts get lost in stickies or 25 page threads, and they don’t get the responses they hoped they’d get, which is why people start new threads, that and trying not hijack another posters thread. An improvement in the search function would help this, also enforcing not starting new threads which are similar to existing threads.

It’s not just lawn care, that’s just because it’s that time of year. Once it gets closer to hunting season it will be “recommend me a scope for _____” or “which rifle caliber would you recommend”

There is just a glut of home and garden stuff right now because we’re coming into spring. In a few months it will be fishing. Then in the summmer/fall it’s going to be all hunting all the time. Then back to the spring warming.

Don’t do this to us.
