Home & Garden Board will be coming soon...

It was never the intention of this board to be a Home Improvement board..."Outdoor" was meant to encompass hunting, fishing, water activities, etc, and related subcategories.
There may be some threads on here that will eventually get moved to the new Home/Garden board once it becomes live...if it makes sense.

Too many boards Cluckster. The OB is a rare fraternity on TD. I think you may see some of the threads on the OB still continue to pop up, even if you wish for them to go to the new board. Not saying you won’t move them, but still.

This board is the only sane place to get answers to mechanical, boat, and lawn questions.

Most of the baws that hunt/fish are the same baws who know their arse from their elbow about lawn care

I get the intent of sub-categorizing boards, but removing Home Improvement and Lawn & Garden threads from this board will likely result in a degradation in the quality of posts in those threads. The "neatest thing you've built" thread on here isn't an "outdoor" topic but a majority of the people who replied in that thread are OB regulars. If that thread started on a different board, you wouldn't have neat the contribution to it that you do. I don't think most OB posters will migrate over to the HGB with any regularity and you'll lose significant input and helpful comments on those topics.
