I hunted my lease in the Texas hill country this weekend. Great time. Ranch looks great and tons of big deer this year. Sun evening I had 6 different racked bucks in sight at one time. 2 fighting, at 2 different times. 4 making scrapes at 1 time. Bucks pushing does, grunting, snort wheeze, it was awesome. Love the pre-rut.

my mother-in-law grew up in an oil camp between Falfurrias and Hebbronville. Her grand parents owned quite a bit of land further south in citrus, but sold it all before she was old enough to know any better. Some very nice deer in that part of the world.
