Call Mitch at circle m trailer in mansura. He will build it however you want. Great people at reasonable prices. Our family has 8-10 of their trailers and they are all well built and they stand by their work Worth the drive from Houma.

Tornado Alley in Kansas for the geese. Brandon and Jose do an awesome job.

Crooked wing outfitters in Lubbock for the cranes. They do it right. If you can get Jake for your crane guide, he is awesome. They also have fantastic goose hunting. Trevor is the guy for that.
Jamie Gaspard with pure adrenaline charters out of Fourchon. You will not be disappointed. He gives it 110% every time.
Man that was a fun weekend. We need to do it again
I have the 21 defender max crew and it’s been great. So much better than my 14 ranger 900 crew… at least so far. Built much more solid and it rides fantastic. Seats are very comfortable as well. Cousin has the mule and it seems to be a very good bike as well. Have only ridden on it a couple times but it’s comfortable and seems well put together. He claims to love it. I don’t think you can go wrong either way.

Lacrosse aerohead snake proof. Comfortable as hell.
Had a ranger 900 bought it new, couldn’t keep it running after two years. Probably had 10k in repairs In it after 6 years. Bought defender to replace it this year. Like that so far but haven’t ran it enough to know long term. We have a 18 pioneer 700 on the farm that gets used every day. Has 9,000 miles. Only have had to change the brake pads. Doesn’t have a ton of power or speed, but will surprise you in the mud and just simply doesn’t break.

Announcers stated at least a half dozen times the receiver was supposed to stop the route because of where the LB was. (Stop in the hole of the zone) Had the LB rushed, he (wr) would have been supposed to continue the route. Max threw the ball as the latter. Miscommunication, but it is on Max.
Took my buddy’s son. Didn’t hear a gobble. Saw two hens when riding the buggy to a different spot.

Polaris ranger issues

Posted by MallardMaster on 11/8/20 at 10:25 am
I have a Polaris ranger 900 that is giving me some kind of electrical issue I can’t figure out for the life of me. It will be running fine then all the sudden lose all power and just idle. Very little if any response with the accelerator. It will then get to the point where it won’t even idle or start. If I take the ground off the battery post and leave it overnight it clears up and runs fine again for a while (maybe a few minutes or a few days) until it does it again. I have checked every wire and connection I can think of and can’t find any issue. I’m at a loss. Anyone ever have a problem like this before and can point me in the right direction?

Hadn’t ever seen it either til this past Friday. Had two that had been out in the field I was hunting and they went back in the woods. 45 mins later a good buck came out (out of bow range). 5 min later the two come back out and start howling and within 30 seconds the rest started piling out the woods. I counted at least ten. They chased the buck to the woods then turned and went across the field as a pack. Most I had ever seen was 4 together and I am on a 4000 acre farm daily

If that’s the only hull damage, that won’t be bad to have fixed at all. There are many places that do that kind of work. Not sure if the motor has water damage, but sounds like even if it does, you could repower with the money and still have some left over after hull repairs to upgrade electronics.

re: Pallet duck blind

Posted by MallardMaster on 7/28/19 at 7:20 pm to
Used to do it all the time. They last for a few years. We would put them on levees or in places we wanted to try out before building a big fancy blind in the wrong spot. We would get a couple with very small spacings for the floor. then drive 4 wood posts at the corners of the blind. For walls Run a 2x between the posts and screw the pallets to it. Wire mesh on the outside to hold brushing. You can make a 3-4 man blind in 20 mins with a couple guys.
It looks that way because it is still curing. It will even out in a few days. It takes standard concrete 28 days to reach full strength. The first few days it will look funny while it is reacting and therefore curing.

Roundup will kill it
Pump dry and dig deeper til you get to the desired depth or you hit clay. Hopefully you will hit clay as this is what you will need to line the pond to seal it. I would suggest having a soil sample or rent a skid steer with an auger and drill to a depth of about 10’ below bottom of pond. That will give you a much better idea of what needs to be done, once you know what the soil is the next 10 feet

Edited to add, you will want to put at 2’ thick or so layer of clay the whole way and side so that pond will hold water.
