My wife's ex-father-in-law owned a nice camp in Grand Isle until a couple years ago and had 4 Yeti's stolen off his porch one night. I had no idea how much they cost at the time, but when I found out he lost over $1000 worth of coolers, first thing I though was "what a dumbass to not have them locked up inside".

There is a company out of south LA called GATR, I know the owners. Great people and great product.

I have an Orca and it gets the job done. My only complaint is it has plastic feet on the bottom instead of rubber.

All I know is some Premium Ice Chest manufacturer needs to make a direct fit replacement for boats with the flip flop seat back.

I'm tired of replacing the igloo's that fit there...

looked everywhere and nothing fits well due to slanted sides etc.

How old?
My orca has rubber feet.

It was a gift. I like it, would’ve been equally as happy with a RTIC.

Get someone to weld you up an aluminum stand to replace that one and will fit a different chest.

I have never figured out why someone would want an ice chest that is that heavy. Such a pain to wash out

I generally don’t lift my ice chests to wash them out, rotomolded or not

Replying here because I have a specific need. It's for my boat. I want it to fit in the cove between my rod boxes. Needs to be tough enough to step up on. Can't be over 24.5" wide.

Leaning toward the Igloo BMX. I assume I can step up on it? Of course, the only one so far that I have found that is perfect is a freaking Yeti.

The Magellan would be awesome if it did not have the protrusions for the handles.

Last time I did any research Grizzly were the only ones made in the US (I'm not sure if that's still the case) and they have a lifetime warranty, not five years.

I was going to buy one but a family member sent down a Magellan as a gift/need after Michael. I can't find anything wrong with it and I leave it outside; I've heard some brands can get lid warpage if left outside.

They're all heavy as hell. I wish somebody would make a cooler with that all or most of the durability but half the insulation; I'd buy those in a heartbeat.

next ice chest i buy is going to be something less than $80 and doesn't weigh a lot. I'm over the heavy arse coolder fad. They don't hold ice hardly much better if you're going in and out of them for drinks etc during usage. The $60 igloos are just as wondeful for those usages.
