Like others said he needs an arse whooping. However, he sounds crazy. He may be the type of person that burns your house down because his feelings are hurt. It's not like the old days when people would get put in their place and move on with life.

Personally, I would just fish elsewhere and chalk it up as a loss. Calling the law is most likely going to ratchet up your situation to a full on nightmare.

Here's the problem with that mentality on a public lake.

BAW #1 puts out his own brush pile and tells everyone they can't fish it.
BAW #2 puts out his own brush pile and tells everyone they can't fish it.
BAW #3 puts out his own brush pile and tells everyone they can't fish it.
BAW #4 puts out his own brush pile and tells everyone they can't fish it.
BAW #5 puts out his own brush pile and tells everyone they can't fish it.
BAW #6 puts out his own brush pile and tells everyone they can't fish it.
BAW #7 puts out his own brush pile and tells everyone they can't fish it.
BAW #8 puts out his own brush pile and tells everyone they can't fish it.
BAW #9 puts out his own brush pile and tells everyone they can't fish it.
BAW #10 puts out his own brush pile and tells everyone they can't fish it.
Etc, etc, etc...

That's the problem I tried getting thru to this guy too.
The flats are only like 400x400yds of water >3ft deep. The last thing it needs is more piles when there's already "15 of his" plus dozens others in a small area

So you're saying I can tell people not to fish my dock, piles, and fish lights at our place on False River? You're more than welcome to the house on a Friday night and tell people to get away from our dock during the cookie jars to see how that goes

This is what I would personally do OP, invite 2-3 friends to fish one day and everyone Open Carry big arse guns if its legal.

Don't say shite to the guy, don't provoke shite, don't do anything. Just put out the message that you are tired of being fricked with.

Hopefully he shuts up. You'd have to be an idiot to argue with multiple guys with guns.

If he is still an idiot, personally I'd start fishing elsewhere in the lake. I'd strongly consider posting the coordinates online of his spot though. Have other guys fish his spot and see what happens.

But you really don't want to frick around with someone crazy as they will be more than likely to take it to the next level.

Since he is following you, you could sink your own brush pile 10 feet from his and fish that and see if he still bitches

Don't even need to dive down. Couple of grappling hooks and you could destroy his brush piles. Just drag the hell out of them.

I would seriously consider doing this one night after a few drinks

He has no right to a spot on a public lake. Don't matter how much work he put into it

I don’t even get why people go through effort to do work on public land.

If you want the right to your own spot, buy a private lake. Otherwise share the public space with everyone else and just use what nature put there

Mark them with little fish icons on the public Navionics App

"Biggun"
"25 lb sack"
"Limit"
etc.

I’ll put my tops on top of your tops then fish them

Take a sheriff deputy fishing with you, just make sure he looks and is dressed like a fisherman and that he is carrying his badge.
