Can't have black soles

FYI, I have had some black sole non-marking work boots before that were fine. Normal ol work boots and you might as well be dragging around a sharpie on a string.

I did not consider the sole marking up the boat. My boat is aluminum with hydroturf and I have never scuffed up a fiberglass one with my crappy tennis shoes.

I stand corrected on fishing shoe choice. My bad for being an a-hole. Lol

Olu kai flip flops for summer trout fishing
Xtratuf deck boots in winter
When I am on the trolling motor all day bass fishing I’ve ended up wearing last years Brooks ghosts. None of the specialty fishing type shoes are as comfortable as my running shoes. If its raining I go back to the deck boots

I have a couple pair of these. They are nice. Not 100% sure they are worth the price but IDGAD about the price. I usually wear them a few years so its cool

I start with them but once I get on my boat, I go to these most of the time

Shoes but in black and they're perfect. Cover my whole foot, crazy light, holes in the bottom so water drains and they're cheap enough to not give a frick about

Yeah, definitely some black soles that don't mark, but easier for me to just tell people "please don't wear black soled shoes".

Crocs.

Me basically, or flip flops, or barefoot. Yall act like yall are heading into the Perfect Storm. I'm running canals and bays and barefoot is what I prefer, but I'm not above crocs. I keep the heel part flipped up so they are flip flops basically.

My problem w crocs is that they get saturated, and are wet for the next three days. I cant wear those damn things if theres a puddle anywhere around. I dont hate being barefoot, but i dont like being barefoot while launching the boat, or walking back to the truck, or when my deck is hot AF.

Why would anyone have a special pair of shoes for fishing?....

Because it rains a lot around my parts.

Tennis shoes also won't work with my waders.

I crab in the winter months with insulated extratuf boots.

Some of us need something more than tennis shoes

In the summer I fish bare feet. Especially offshore. Can’t keep my balance with deck shoes. I have big flat feet.

I’m either wearing my Columbia Drainmakers or Ott Defoe’s signature footwear.

I have settled on Sperry flops and Lacrosse Alpha Muddys. I can stand all day with them.

Under Armour Kilchis. Gotta try them on because the sizing is a little odd, but this fits the bill for what you’re asking for

These are by far the most comfortable i have worn on the boat. Take a little longer to dry.

Summer is usually flip flops that get kicked off.
