re: Ever had a SO that didn't bitch about your hunting/fishing habits?

At my wedding, my dad grabbed me in a "bear hug" when we were getting ready to sign the marriage papers, told my SO he would not let me sign them unless she agreed to let me go fishing or hunting whenever I wanted to. Now the problem is she loves everything I do outdoors, so whenever I buy something for: golf, fishing, skiing, hunting, I have to buy two of whatever. We can be back only a few days from our camp and she will say she is ready to go back. Gets expensive buying two wheelers or whatever. She has also purchased my last 3 or 4 guns for me.

My wife isn't too bad about it. She didn't say a word about the $120 net I just bought!

None of mine have. Part of making a good decision about your S/O is finding one compatible.

you should get it shipped to your office so she doesn't know when you buy stuff

I'm not talking ab someone u dated for a couple months... But an actual SO... Is it possible for females to understand and accept what we do?
been dating the GF for over 5 years and she has no problem with my fishing habits, she likes to fish as well so she comes sometimes

Yeah, my first wife liked to fish as much as I did. We had a two acre pond and she was out there by herself many times when I was doing yard work.

How nice of you to let her do that.

Mine doesn't care. Or doesn't say anything. But I told her she better not cause she never cares that I have to work 4-5 weeks straight in turnaround.

The girlfriend and her family are big into fishing and have a 32' Contender.
She seems to be cool with my other outdoor stuff; 4 wheelers, motorcycles, etc.
