Do you love your fishing jacket?

I just can't find anything I like in the light jacket category. I have great rain wear now, but I don't find that stuff all that comfortable to fish in. What do you love for when a simple long sleeve shirt is not enough?

an Under Armour half zip. i have a few that are warmer than others.

I haven't tried it, but the guys on tacticalbassin really like the AFTCO Reaper Zip Up ($120)

I've been looking into Gill outerwear. Usually I just wear my everyday rain jacket (Marmot Precip). It's ok.

Ive put a Patagonia torrentshell through hell and back and it’s held up. Definitely worth 120$ in my opinion

Not really. But I enjoy being goofy and trying to see how I can get in my wife's nerves (she's really the best). So I ordered a red velvet smoking jacket that I have been wearing everywhere to see if it gets on her nerves. I'm taking her crappie fishing and she will will get to witness the glory of it.

I have an Aftco pullover that is awesome for rain and wind, and I also have a Simms G3 wading jacket that is waterproof and a great wind breaker also. Both comfortable as hell to fish in. The Aftco will keep you warm in chilly/windy weather. The wading jacket is more for waterproof/windbreaking.

I’ve got an old Old Navy pullover. Zipper at the top turns it into like a turtle neck. It’s pretty warm but amazingly doesn’t get real hot. I tried to find extras on EBay and wherever else I could think but never found the same thing. Close but enough different to make the difference. I’ve been fishing in that thing for 10 years and will suck when it finally wears out

I had an awesome fishing rain jacket and can’t find it. It was 200 dollars and I’m convinced someone stole it and it pisses me off

Get better rain gear! I have a not cheap rain jacket that breathes well and actually keeps the water off you. I wear some jacket from Costco when it is really cold.
