The Aftco Reaper is spoken highly of, and there's a new model without the gaiter if that is a deterrent. Like someone else said, if cost isn't an issue Kuiu makes super high end gear. I grabbed one of their Element Down jacket for fishing in the winter and couldn't be happier

I got a Drake hoodie I like to wear. Comfy and easy to move around. Got it on sale from dillards.

Idk about favorite jacket I normally bring a hoodie and a extra sun shirt and those thin Columbia or similar fishing pants with thos cutoff zippers.
But what stays with me everywhere I go fishing or hiking or in my truck is a black paper thin a little stretchy Patagonia rain jacket (rain shadow but the version of 2017) that fits in a stuff sack a little bigger then a coke can. Thing is clutch and I use it all the time
