Yep, sorry. I have the regular 365 and an XL. To me the grip length is what matters over slide length for concealability.

I've carried a full size gun in a owb duty holster under a t shirt printing big time

I've done that in the winter with a USP 45, felt like a brick hanging off my side. Under a light jacket it still didn't print that badly. Now I have a IWB holster for it though I only carry that for walking the dog.

I still go to the G43 for some instances, also playing with the new bodyguard which is pretty comfortable in comparison to most 10-12 round options

I never saw that enigma thing before today, so I watched a couple of videos because it is very intriguing.

My thoughts - I didn't see any fat people. Mostly fit dudes and fit chicks. Lots of chicks btw.

This is the fattest dude I saw reviewing it. Dad bod type dude, maybe his setup ideas are better for the average not jacked football shape dude. He loves it.

Dad Bod Dude

I do like the general idea of it and I think I might get myself one to try.

This is a very thorough review that is well done for others who are interested.

While it may be true that some people wouldn't notice if you were concealing a howitzer, if you know what you are looking for it is fairly easy to spot someone carrying. So be aware of that. I work in a building that the DEA operates out of. After watching agents of all variety carry all sorts of ways for years, you just sort of know what you are looking at. I don't think my experience is isolated.

I've been carrying concealed for about 15 years. I've never used appendix nor "deep carry." I started out carrying IWB w/ a tucked shirt. Later I quit tucking it since not all my pants had the extra 1" in the waist needed for IWB carry. After 5 years or so I became comfortable enough to start carrying OWB. I've also used pocket carry intermittently since I started. Now my pocket carry/OWB are pretty equal. Using a nice pocket carry holster, a small 380 (mine is a Kahr CW380) will disappear into most slacks and is ok in most jeans. For OWB, for cover I wear a long t-shirt or a loose button up "fishing" type shirt. Nowadays I mostly cc a Sig P365 or Kimber Micro 9 in an OWB holster. As far as I know, I've never been busted when carrying concealed. I've never felt comfortable w/ the type of holster you're looking at. I'd feel a lot more comfortable cc a pocket 380. If I didn't think a 380 was enough gun, there are some small 9's that will fit in many-most pockets (e.g. my Kahr CM9 fits a pocket well). If you can't get comfortable w/ "deep carry," try pocket carry w/ a pocket 380 or a small 9mm. W/ the right cover clothes you should be ok carrying a bigger gun IWB or OWB. Keep us updated.

I carry a 365x with a techna clip. Im a skinny dude so it fits me fine. It’s a little uncomfortable when sitting, but walking around it’s almost unnoticeable. I have it where the grip sits right along the belt line. I can carry it with a shirt loosely tucked in an it covers the grip. It’s the only way I’ve carried since I started carrying.

I’ve been looking at other options as well. I’ve found the “fat guy holster” from JX tactical that is designed to sit lower in the pants for fat guys. It’s about the same as the normal holsters but the point where the belt clips mount is extended an inch or so to allow another row of holes for the belt clips. Which lets it sit lower in the pants. Pair it with the ulti clip and you can get even lower into the pants.

I carry a 365x with a Vedder soft tuck and the grip on the 365 wears me out if I'm not wearing an undershirt. Anyone have tips to keep my starter kit love handles or my smallish gut free of abrasion?

I got nothing. I put the Wilson Combat X grip on my 365 and it has less abrasive texture when going the direction it goes when pressed against my stomach, but maybe I'm a bitch because I still can't take it more than an hour or so if I'm moving around a lot. I've started wearing undershirts to fix it.

Why do you feel the need to "deep carry" is the first question I have.

I dont care if I print. Its legal to concealed carry in Louisiana now, and to be honest so many people are wrapped up in their own lives, they arent paying attention to anyone else. The only person who has ever questioned me was my BIL who noticed while we were taking family Christmas photos with Santa.

That's fine, and I normally share that mindset, but that's not the point.

I just need to be extra careful sometimes. When I deep carry it's in a non-permissive environment. I'm not breaking any laws but could be asked to leave if found out.

I definitely would prefer to not print at all, if there were a good way for me to do it. I just haven't found it yet.

Some people don't like guns, lots of people don't like pistols, and I'd prefer to not be a rude a-hole and make those people uncomfortable. Lots of people think it is absolutely ridiculous to carry a pistol everywhere and it can be professionally limiting to be viewed as a ridiculous person.

I'd love to find a good way to carry a pistol with a tucked lightweight shirt and zero printing.

I've enjoyed it so far. I really like being able to adjust the ride height on the go. Ex. If I need more concealment I can just push the grip down before getting out of my car or something.

You've never experienced the thrill of having a loaded 9mm pointed at your junk for 8 straight hours? You call that living?
