Can your Husky come to my house for a week?

Maybe that possum was named Tommy Boy and he was just a bit confused?

I’ve always let mine live
My old catahoula is a different story. She took out a family of 5 once. Brought one inside through the doggie door and my little boy was playing with it. No bueno

They are beneficial in that they eat pests and don't carry rabies.
I also understand that if they are in the area, they tend to keep rats away simply by their presence.

Please advise.
You could always relocate him to Alex Box. The baseball team can use all the help they can get right now.

No. Those bastards eat turkey eggs. Keep em in town. Release them in a grocery store parking lot if you must.
I’m not sure there is a single Turkey within 45 minutes of Lafayette.

Our cat and Chester the opossum are friends. Kong will even knock food down to Chester if he can't get up to where the food is. The only time Kong gives Chester any shite is if he hisses at one of us. Then poor Chester might catch a beat down.

Blossom the Possum has been granted a stay of eradication* or relocation until further notice. Aint bothering nobody or nothing except bugs and stuff and therefore she will be allowed to squat on my land.
*Please note that I sighted my Savage 187 (22LR) yesterday for 25 yards which is just about the distance from my back porch to the fence line.

I have come to an uneasy peace with the possum that come eats my outdoor cat's food just about every night.

Good news. Over the years ive probably had upwards of 20 come and eat the cat food outside. Not one of them ever did anything to warrant getting rid of.
