Spare me the beretta owns benelli stuff, we all know that. I like both in their own right. However, I'm a fan of Benelli's autoloaders specifically SBEII, but on the other hand I'm a fan of Beretta's upland guns.

Now the new Benelli O/U is far from classically designed and that is exactly what's wrong with it. It could be a fine shooter but I doubt I ever know because I like my O/U to be timeless. I don't want them to look like a space age laser gun.

Ok, now my point theory. Does anyone else think that Beretta is "the timeless, classic beauty" in the shotgun world and Benelli is "the affliction, white sunglasses douche" of the shotgun world?

That being said, I would not trade my SBEII for an A400 Unico.

In other words, the "Tkr" of the shotgun world?

You wasted way too much time thinking about this. That said, my A400 Xplor Unico KO > your SBEII.

I like my hunting rifle on the line of a Benelli. Looks ok but takes a beating.

I truly love a nice side by side or O/U. Something about a beautiful walnut stock fine engraving it just screams art.

My Benelli will never replace my model 21's and my model 21's will never replace my Benelli if that makes any aense

My Beretta A400 is head and shoulders above any other duck hunting shotgun available on the market today.

Close, but more like, Benelli is the outside the box, let's make tools that work better company.

That's how i feel about the browning cynergy in camo. A lot of my buddies like the look of it, I for one, am not a fan. IMO an O/U should have that "timeless" look.

ETA: LINK

Beretta= Old School. Benelli= New School. Both make quality shotguns, and would strongly recommend either to someone looking for a new shotgun.
