This idiot prosecutor has obviously never heard of Stag Arms, which is probably the largest maker of left handed ARs. You’d think he would have a duty to do some research before spouting off his suckhole.
For all we know the prosecutor my be well versed in firearms and ammo, he is still going to present every aspects of the case in a manner that is unfavorable to the defendant. It is the job of the defense to offer rebuttal.

Yep, the state attorney in the closing rebuttal stated Def. Attorney lied when he stated that due to ejection of hot hulls , rifles were designed to be either right or left handed.
I'm failing to understand how this is NOT correct, with the exceptions, of course, of over-under/double-barrel/single-shot weapons.

Most ARs are right-handed. My Stag Arms, though, is left-handed, specifically so I don't get the wash and/or hulls in my face.

The shell deflector was specifically added to aid left handed shooters.

my son shot a 225 pound buck with a .243 fusion at about 150 yards years ago and dropped him like a sack of potatoes. When we cleaned the deer it looked a mini grenade went off. as long as u hit bone they are awesome

Some high end, tipped match rounds will do this, too. And it's not just deer, it's elk, bison, and most other N American game.
It's the terminal ballistics (what the bullet does once it hits the animal) that cause them to drop like that instead of running off. The better the TB, the bigger the internal wound cavity, thus the quicker the drop.
FMJs have dogshit terminal ballistics, it's why they're so ineffective in hunting situations.

How does this tie into the trial?
He (the ADA) had some super zoomed pic from a video that he said showed Kyle aiming his AR at someone. Like he was just targeting people at random like an active shooter.
That ADA makes my blood boil.

How was he supposed to shoot at the people who were trying to kill him?! Maybe if he held the gun sideways over his head like a gangsta they would have approved.
What a shite show

I missed most of the closing.
What's even the purpose of discussing a L or R handed gun?
BTW I'm left handed completely, (hand, eye, foot etc). I can shoot a normal rifle, bolt action can be a PITA (you don't want me doing a Mad Minute with our Enfield, I just can't do it).
Not a fan of bullpups due to this, I know I could set it up lefty, but my son is righty. I want universal usage weapons.

This is an awkward title

full metal jacket sounds scarier to a lot of people
>What any anti-gun person thinks when they hear the term "full metal jacket"
"We saw the movie and know Rittenhouse wants to be the helicopter gunner that said shooting women and children was easy. All of those people that own assault riffles just want to shoot people."
>What I think when I hear it.
"I prefer brass."

Luckily I only use non-metal jacket bullets. They are held together by swiss chess, made in Taiwan.

It has to do with the prosecution saying that the video shows Kyle pointing the gun and the Ziminski's. Based Kyle's position relative to the Ziminski's when the prosecution is saying he pointed his gun at them kyle would have to raise the gun to his left shoulder because the ziminski's are to his right.
