Just curious if anyone has gone on a exotic hunt in Louisiana or do I need to head to Texas?

Walter Boasso has an exotic animal "farm" in Mississippi. I know people hunt it, I had the opportunity a few years ago but I was too busy for that kind of thing back then. No idea how you get on the list to hunt it now, I know the amount of animals allowed on the property and what can be harvested are regulated so they can't just let you come shoot whatever you want.

Those exotic hunts are still going on in Hackley, just not through Covey Rise.

That's Grand Coteu Plantation. I think they do deer and elk but I'm not 100% sure.

The place on 308 in Larose I'm pretty sure is private. There are still exotics there. I seen them but the fence a few days ago.

Theres also Benny Cenacs place in Gheens. Golden Ranch, they have deer and elk for sure. You can also go duck and alligator hunts. I'm not sure if its open to his customers or if he sells hunt. I know they farm deer to sell to other outfits.

Make the drive to the Texas Hill Country. It’s further, but a LOT more options

I don’t think the Grand Coteau has any axis presently. They do have a herd of 50+ elk however and plenty of whitetail.
