Alone season 7 on next , a buddy is a contestant, gets a shot at a musk ox tonight

On the history channel, things are getting interesting, they have some interesting characters out there,
Roland is holding his own so far, the Rock house looks solid as hell, he gets the musk ox tonight he will be looking good

Big fan of this show. That single arrow took a big toll on the musk ox. Presume he just knifed it a few times in chest to induce pneumothorax and lung collapse to finish it off. Was surprised he carried all that meat back to his camp on his back. Thought he'd fashion a travois from poles to drag it back. Perhaps the terrain was too rugged for that.

When he took the shot he had an extra arrow in his hand, they never said what happened to that one????
He is no stranger to packing meat on his shoulders, usually puts it in his backpack, but not available this time. When I shot my moose packing it out was a bitch and we had 4 guys, hind quarter came in at just over 150 lbs

Love the show.
Boss to finish that ox with a knife.
I would not cache all that meat in one location. String up parts in different locations, in line with his trail back to Stone House. Last trip being the longest.
A predator stealing or fouling your whole meat supply would be devastating.
I was almost to tears on the previous show, when the wolverine got the fat stash.

My buddy was with him in Alaska and they killed a moose, everyone took a load and started hiking back to camp which was a mile or so away, Roland lapped them....twice!

He got lucky , arrow was in the back leg/hip area, long shot with that bow. I would say that kill puts him in serious contention for the win. That dude is a maniac for stabbing the musk ox with his knife. He has some big balls for sure. I hope he wins!

I hate the new show format.. I turn it off when he starts interviewing the people toward the end.. this ain't survivor or the Batchelor shite

No chance in hell that was a kill shot. Way back and high. He said 35 yds, if so then the camera man was at least 50-75 yds behind him. Could he really sneak in on and injured Ox twice with that shot, highly doubt it. Oh and zero blood on the knife after the first “stabbed him to death” lol. And all of a sudden he rolls over with all four legs locked up, not from that shot or a stab or two from a 4” blade...100 days is a long time and I hope your boy wins. But to think there wasn’t a little “production value/high powered rifle” added to that episode is just naive

No camera man, all video shot by the contestants, and a lot of it is shot after the fact, with scenes recreated
