Ok we've had like 10 votes for the 870 and a few for the Nova I think.
I mean dont get me wrong, those are some great pumps. But with an unlimited budget, why are y'all taking pumps? Not trying to hate, just a lil OB debate question.
The top end auto are so dependable these days, no way would I go back to a pump.

I chose the 870 because 2 of my high end autos are currently awaiting a trip to the gunsmith to fix ejector problems. My 870s work flawlessly every time, as does my BPS. I like my Beretta, but if these 3 guns have to last me forever, I want one that will work.

Waterfowl/Upland/Small game
Beretta Xtrema 2
12 Guage

Any big game
Jarrett Ridge Waler
7mm WSM

I don't really need anything else. Maybe some sort of pistol, but don't really care about them very much.

Didnt read that part.

I'll take a sniper rifle with night visions scope and a silencer with 100 rd clip and pretty much just take whatever else I want from neighboring countries.

OK, well, then use the .45 with shotshells or the 870 with light loads for varmints.

Since the budget is 17 Trillion dollars, use any of them for plinking since you will have a semi truckload of ammo. :)

I can has any shotgun I want. I will always hunt with a pump. I prefer it to an auto. The times I've had to use an auto, I did not enjoy it at all. I just see no benefit for any hunting I do.

The first time I looked at this thread.....
I definitely thought this was a 'grab what you can' day. Pick your three and get ready.

I realize now that it is a restock your lost inventory type deal.

I love my LH Benelli M2 field. However, I do feel that a pump action is easier to keep operating over a semi-auto shotgun.

Given a choice, I'll take left handed over right handed. But 870 gets the nod in a quick grab situation.

Tough to pick just 3:

Shotgun would be the 870

Pistol would be a Glock in .40 cal

Rifle is tough choice for me. .22 seems the logical practical choice. But also AK in .223 or .308 would work too and kive you more killing power.

Remington 11-87 12 gauge (easy to work on if problems arise)
Browning X-Bolt 30-06
FN SCAR-H .308

I'd spend the other $16,999,999,995,000 on ammo, optics, and accessories.

Well, it's not even that. You get 3 to go from none to 3. Those 3 are going to cover everything you do from then on. I guess i just don't get it.

17 trillion?

I would not own any firearms. If I wanted to go hunting I would tell one of my many bitches to go get a gun and then let her drive me to the stand.

aggresive enemy?? Hire blackhawk to protect me with all kinds of new toys that I have loaned them money to buy.

I am the winner of this thread.
