870 12 gauge
6.5X55 Swede any make
.22 LR semiauto any make

Birds, defense, long range hunting/defense, cheap survival gun all covered.
And though the Swede could probably be replaced by something else, there is a ton of old military ammo available, and it is fun to shoot, lethal, accurate to a good range, and just cool.

In this scenario a handgun seems too limiting, as does an assault rifle.

Actually, no one needs an assault rifle. There will be nothing I encounter in my lifetime where one of those is the best firearm for the job.

I love a Rem 870. As dependable as you can get. But if I got 17 trillion to spend, I'm going to go high end. I've never seen a Vinci or an over and under jam up.

Infidel,

I just saw this hijack.

I have spoken with the guy from Louisiana Precision Rifles a few times. He was my top choice to customize my 270wsm. The only problem is that Tikka's are in the metric system and he only works with American inches.
He gave me a ton of advice.
I later found information about him on some Sniper/Long Range Hunting forums......people drive from all over the country to come shoot with him. Apparently, he can really freaking shoot. Always sells anything he brings to the range.
He will advise you to purchase a Remington 700 and he will customize it for you to offer .5 MOA, I believe. He knows his shite for sure!!

I think you have done your homework and have made a great choice.

I'm a fan of 300 wsm. Can't really vouch for the other two calibers, since I've never shot them. I have shot the 7mm wsm, which is pretty wicked.
I've read about 7mm SAUM and lots of handloaders like what it can do.
Let me know when you get one in, we'll put up against my Grey Wolf (270wsm) and see what happens.

Rem. 870 Pump- Rib, 30" barrell and 3 1/2" with multi chokes.

Rem. Nylon 66 .22 rifle

Colt Govt. .380

That would have to be the 3

Hard choice since I own 4 Shotguns, 4 Rifles and 8 handguns.

Thats the one I own. My first gun. Uncle had one and it stayed muddy, told me he never cleaned it and it shoots all the time so I bought one back in the 70's.
To this day I shoot it more than all my other guns combined.

Springfield M1A Scout SOCOMII w/Trijicon ACOG mounted. (Big Game, Home Defense, SHTF weapon)

Remington 870 Pump
(Small Game, Waterfowl, Birds, Home Defense)

1911 Style .45 ACP
(Carry)

You really need four weapons to cover the Varmint and plinking, the fourth would be a Marlin 60 .22 to cover that need.

My HK USP 9mm

PTR-91 (HK G3 clone) self defense and hunting) 7.62 NATO

My RRA AR-15 in 5.56

I have enough mags, ammo, and spare parts to last a long time.

I would use my AKs, ARs, 98s, 91/30s, pistols to arm my militia.
