re: 28% off academy site wide including ammo, guns, and firearms

My order went through with both codes, confirmation with fedex tracking now in transit and deliver tomorrow. Also my credit card charge was paid, initially it just showed pending. It seems that those of us who ordered early on Monday they honored those orders with both codes. I can't believe I got $560 off a Power Pole Blade.

Did you go on Academy site and chat with customer service? I did on Tuesday and was told that order was submitted and pending confirmation, I went back on line yesterday and that was when I was told a confirmation number and given a fed ex tracking number. I've been tracking since then and it didn't leave warehouse until yesterday afternoon around 5 and this morning its in Memphis. I was really anticipating that they was gonna cancel order and only offer use of 1 code but to my surprise they honored both.

I'm still stuck in "submitted" limbo so I took your advice to chat and put Order status and shipping update request in the question field.

The rep came online and said Sure I can CANCEL order#xxx

I almost lost my shite. Stopped her from canceling but didntt want her to do anything with my order so I disconnected and called.

As of now my order has been "created" which the rep said meant somebody should be looking for the items to fill my order and to check back tomorrow if they haven't shipped.

She did ask if anyone had contacted me about pricing or anything else. I said no and she said that should mean everything is OK and the order would ship soon.

So I'm still in limbo and I'm now more unsure if I'll receive my items than before I called.

Time will tell.

Wow that is crazy, I wonder why the rep was trying to cancel your order? When I chatted both time I put in the subject line " I need an expected ship date". Hopefully that rep did not mess up the original order. Did you by chance keep a copy of the original order and order number? If so maybe they will honor the original order if by chance the rep messed it up. Good luck as these types of deals don't happen often

I just hate not knowing and being in limbo. If they want to cancel then do it so I can look for other deals.

The question of being contacted about pricing really has me wondering though.

Unlike some of the others here, I didn't jump on a gun or a huge outdoor purchase.

I just ordered some Levi's and socks , as I can always use more, and I was actually ready to go buy some somewhere.

That order is still listed as "submitted". That's the order with both codes.

I then decided to order my brother some Levi's for his birthday, and for that order, only one code would work. I took the 20% off code, still a decent deal.

That order has already been delivered.

I called and was told my order will ship, but nothing has happened as of yet.

I did create an account earlier today, and it did import my 2 orders into my account, so I can at least log in and check those (I like the fact that it imported orders I placed prior to making an account).

I didn't go hog-wild on gun stuff, because I still have to pay taxes on the orders. That's something I find I can beat online for most things, if I look around.

So if i choose one, and i get my trust papers ready all i have to do is com down to the store? Or do yall need to have them in stock?

I only bought a couple Whopper Ploppers because they were on sale for $10, $8 with the discount, and some hooks for my spinnerbaits. Nothing fun or exciting.
