Interesting to see the 18% increase in Ram sales.

I figured GM trucks would have more units on the market between the Silverado and Sierra.

F150 still leads, no surprise whatsoever.

Just remember this is light and HD sales combined.

Did Ram change design teams or some lead? Lot of guys are now loving what they are putting out.

Ram is totally fulfilling Marchionne’s vison in what he desired by carving the brand out.

Problem is to beat Chevy for the 1st time in history, they are getting used to MAJOR discounting that really hasn’t been seen before.

GM’s reaction was that although they were disappointed for Chevy to lose to Ram, they were still satisfied with the overall numbers and the fact they didn’t have to give the product away to make it happen.

FCA isn’t stupid, though- they bought a lot of share this year with a really good platform. They will build loyalty if the experience is right.

With all the complaints that started immediately after the new truck came out about the interior, I was a bit surprised they sold as many as they did. Lots of brand loyalists out there I guess.

And as all the domestics have found out, you can't remove the massive discounting or sales will drop. They will continue to inflate the MSRP to sell at a profitable level and I guess people will still be influenced by that.

I don’t care about resale, rather reliability. I keep my vehicles as long as possible. So with the Tundra I guess you get both. Just shitty fuel economy!

I traded in my 2015 Ram Ecodiesel to get the Tundra. Although I didn't have issues, the lawsuit, recalls and others with engine failures was enough.

Ram has been putting out a great truck for 12+ years...took shiny bells and whistles for people to take notice...I've owned rams dating back to a 2007 model

A coworker has had nothing but issues with his Ecodiesel engine. Loves the Ram though.

I think the tailgate has it's uses, but having it whack the trailer hitch when attached was a huge blunder. How do they not test that?

I’ve had at least 7 fords and 5 GM trucks over the years. I bought a 2019 Ram about 9 months ago. Hands down the finest truck I’ve ever owned. Don’t know why it gets a bad rap but one should give it a look before buying. No regrets at all
