I’m in a box in the woods looking down 2 shooting lanes with some rice bran and a feeder tucked in the woods in between them and a pathetic little grass patch growing on one.
Got some really good bucks on camera and some scrapes on lane to the right.
Freezers are already full, so looking for a big’un today.

Just had a fox walk out at 20 yards, shot at a weird angle with my bow...see hair on the ground but not sure if it was a clean hit.
Three mins later a second fox walked out, shot him on the move at 25 yds...he’s down

Fish - I don’t know what it is, but the smell of the woods must act like a natural laxative to me. It’s like clockwork every time I pull in the lease. Only this time it was more of an alarm clock. My head was on a swivel looking for the nearest tree to lean on.

Lotta movement this morning. Saw the first rutting activity of the year which is always exciting. Also saw 2 shooters but passed on both. They’ll make trophies for someone else we bring down this year.

Red, cut hair on this first one, no blood. Was thinking I’d try to do a mount but this two blade rages really fricked him up, like real bad.
