That pic looks identical to a food plot we had on the lease I used to hunt in Mississippi. I mean 100% identical. Stand placement and everything

I ain't seen a deer from a stand all year. However I did have one laugh at me as I attempted to retrieve a duck through waist deep marsh mud.

Today was my last hunt. Didn't pull the trigger, but saw this really 10 point. I couldn't shoot being that I've already harvested my big buck.
I really enjoyed my first year back deer hunting again. Can't believe I was able to go so long. Now on to fishing again.

Saw nothing this morning but pulled the camera card and there was a shooter 8 on it the 1st of the year at 4:46. Heading back out in a few.

Getting here late,
Hunted Lake Fausse Point this morning with poor results.
It was 45* cloudy with an occasional rain drop
Saw a few flock of high flying ducks with one flock of 8 mallards that wanted to work, but then landed about 100 yards outside decoys.
I think I'll stick to deer hunting the rest of the season.
