re: Ruger M77 Mark II opinions

I just picked up my M77 MII .243 boat paddle from the gunsmith. It was my first gun as a kid and went through Katrina.he I thought he was kidding when he told me they were sought after these days. For me it's just a nostalgia gun. Very happy to have it for my daughter to shoot, but I was surprised to see the prices they are going for.

Nearly everything has been covered but the one thing I didn't see that I think would be super helpful is a dishwasher. all those knives, stuffer/grinder pieces can get sanitized and you'll spend less time hand washing.
Dont waste your money on those.

Some great deer in here. Still looking for my first big deer. Ill bump this thread in 10 years.

San Diego, CA

I would have agreed a few years back but I was there in September and there were homeless everywhere. I usually stay in La Jolla but had to stay downtown so maybe that was the difference.

Uber drivers said it had gotten really bad in the last couple of years. They said a lot of homeless and mental health funding had been cut due to mismanagement of budgets at eh state level. Shocker, I know.

I have family there and we usually visit once a year. We didnt go this year and they told us that the homeless population has gotten way worse. It was already healthy.

I still love san diego and think about living there every time we visit.

Chattanooga is also on the list for me.
I've been watching your videos for a while. Good stuff. Keep them coming.

re: Soft Side Coolers

I bought the very first yeti bag right when they came out. I have used the shite out of them and broken the zipper 4 times

Yeti has replaced the bag free of charge 4 times and even upgraded mine when they got away from the original design.

Eventually all of them will break, but I dont know that the others will replace the coolers.
I've run them before and am about to put another set on my 2500.

Yes, I do think that Sitka's Elevated II helps in these situations but it won't make you disappear

'm in numerous 2022+/3rd Gen Tundra Facebook groups and half the time the only time people post is to complain, and it's never anything serious. 99% of the people on their that own one, love them

I'm probably in most of the same groups. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. It would be disingenuous say that there aren't legitimate concerns with those trucks. Lots of people absolutely love them but there seems to be many many people citing quality control issues with them. Every time someone posts a problem with theirs its met with a gaggle of toyota defenders telling them its an easy fix or something that'll get worked out, despite the fact that they are brand new $60-90k trucks. I love the look and the upgraded features, but dropping that kind of money and having the issues that keep popping up would drive me insane.
That is awesome. I cannot wait to do the same with my little girl. Hopefully with the same 243 that I killed my first deer with.

re: Wyoming antelope hunt

Im looking to do this hunt in 2023. I currently have 3 Antelope points and 2 deer points. Hoping that can get me in a decent unit.
I missed out on them and the resale prices are ridiculous. By the time you get 2 tickets, park, have dinner and drinks, you're looking at a cool grand on a wednesday night.
