I can't believe not a one motherfricker jumped in there to help that kid. Yes the parents are assholes for letting their kid fall in there but if you are a spectator you have to go in.

I don't know, but if I go to a zoo and your dumbass kid ends up in a gorilla exhibit, I am in there with them, not waiting for you to call 911.

I don't think you can just jump in. Read the kid climbed up and through something

If your dumbass let your kid fall in a gorilla enclosure, I'm not jumping in after your kid, dipshit. You jump in.

and that gorilla would rip your arms off and beat you to death with them. gorillas are smarter than most people you encounter on a daily basis, they understand innocence in the form of babies or small life forms. a lot of animals have that instinct. you would not get that benefit of that compassion.

Jesus dude, the huge gorilla was already showing enough mild passive aggression towards a little boy that was enough to get him killed for it but you think it would be cool for a fully grown man to jump in there and walk/run/charge the huge gorilla and risk him seeing you as a threat, fighting back and risk the little boy's life as well?

This is the dumbest post in this thread.

If anybody jumped in after the little boy, everyone including the little boy, gorilla and second jumpee would be dead.

I'm not saying I would attack the gorilla, but I would do what I could to keep that kid safe. I just don't understand why it takes so long for someone to intervene

According to the article, she was watching a bunch of kids and repeatedly told him no.

Well isn't that special. It's called negligence. If you can't control everyone in the group, get a smaller group or more adults.

Who is in a better position to protect the patrons from wild, aggressive animals? The minivan mom or the business who actually brought the fricking animals to Smallville, USA?

Again, total horseshite.

As For dogs, if what you say is true then how do you explain the fact there are thousands of cases of dogs attacking children every year, including fatal attacks on babies?

Who knows what the gorilla would've done? Would he get pissed? Would he just be like "Oh, that's your kid"? What if the thing starts drowning or beating your kid? You still gonna stand there like a pussy and watch your kid die?

I still wouldn't stand there with my thumb up my arse and let a gorilla drag my kid around. That shite ain't happening

Did they shoot it in the head with a high power rifle?
That's what I would imagine they did.

No, a slug from a high powered or magnum rifle to the dome is pretty much an instant kill on damn near any animal.

All of you moron macho heroes aren't realizing the very likely scenario that the child, the hero and the gorilla would have all died.
Should the parents be held completely responsible for this? Yes. But they and everyone else did the right thing by letting the zoo handle the situation. You and the other e-tough guys wouldn't have done anything
