Just walked outside and the temp feels like it’s dropped 15 degrees.
Still windy but we still have power.

Just had the first few flickers off 1085. Still on for now. Hoping it stays that way

Anyone see these major power flashes on Brett Adair's feed?

How are roofs holding up? Still several thousand roofs needed in Lake Charles. I can't imagine what material pricing will do if a bunch of roofs are needed in NOLA

cold front literally right on it's heels.

Getting the worst wind we’ve had right now in Covington behind Lakeview hospital. Power is flickering. Hope we can get through it without losing it.

I haven’t seen one shingle on the ground where I am.

Mine didn't fare too well. It'll need to be replaced.

Sounds like what’s going on in Philadelphia right now.

I think knocked out everyone else who had power left.
That's pretty common, too. The winds steadily blow one direction and whacks the weak stuff and weakens the strong stuff. Then the backside winds hit going the other direction and what the front side bent one way and weakened, the back side pushes the other way and breaks.

I’m having trouble wrapping my head around the angle of that video. I see the restaurant and Boudreaux’s motel. But I’m struggling with my bearings. Where is that person standing?

Bevolo back up and burning

Crazy. Figured a cat 2 would take some roofs. Like Lake Charles roofs were 15 years old because everyone got a new roof from Katrina and Rita so there has to be some roofs flying away.

Hurry up cool weather. Getting muggy in the house.

Hoping this is over finally. I feel like there is only about a 5 block area in Metairie back towards bucktown with power and I’m in it.

How much you paid for that one? I'm looking at two of them right now, about to put my order in.

Sorry to hear. Deductibles suck now for named storms
