Our best models ended up doing pretty well on the intensity. Those 970s ended up confirming. Still looks to be improving somehow, but I'd have to imagine there's not much more room to run.

You have to think that the forward speed has just outweighed every negative going against it. It is like it has created it's own environment conducive to strengthening. Another one for the "Study File".

Can someone post more than an hour satellite loop? Its giving me a headache trying to find a wobble with a 1/4 second clip.

Go to tropicaltidbits.com, click on satellite imagery, and choose which one you want to view.

The way he just said "I'm from Tangipahoa parish" cracked me up. I don't know why, it just sounded funny as hell

It's not like there are that many attractive people who do sign language. This is the best one I've seen.

It's getting some synoptic help I think too but yeah the forward speed is probably helping it out too. Colder water doesn't matter as much and running in front of the bigger shear.

Will the original first major advisory bullseye from NHC be about accurate? Pretty amazing job forecasting the path of this storm 5 days out.

I'm at work in Baton Rouge till 5pm and have to drive to Springfield/Ponchatoula area to get home. How bad do y'all think it will be around that time? Should I leave earlier?
