If I’m in BC, would it be better for this thing to go east of me or west of me if I’m worried about wind? I’m assuming it would be better to be on the west side of the storm, correct?

I'm at work in Baton Rouge till 5pm and have to drive to Springfield/Ponchatoula area to get home. How bad do y'all think it will be around that time? Should I leave earlier?

I'd try to. It'll probably be fine if you leave at 5 but wouldn't hurt if you could leave a little early.

Im thinking I don't want to be on the interstate at 5pm with heavy gusts. Especially not If 18 wheelers don't get off the road.

Never do. Best this storm has looked. Recon in there now I assume, need to check and see what they're finding.

I'm thinking this will be the max strength pass and it'll be fairly steady state from here.

Convection is pretty north heavy now and clouds really expanding off to the north. Shear has arrived more but it's about six hours too late with the core it's built.
