It hard to even call this a stunt really..As others have said it doesnt look like it was more than 20 feet deep... and doesnt seem all that dangerous... how did he not surface?

Damn, do you know if that pic was taken knowing she was dead or just a random shot that caught her body in the background?

All I can think of is maybe there was a ledge or deck that he either got caught on or hit his head on as he tried to surface quickly.

Yeah, I don't think he was even that deep. It looked like 22 steps on that wall ladder to the bottom and they looked to be less than a foot apart. His body spanned 8 or 9 of them. The base floor at the top of the ladder has to be a few feet off the water. Then he was at the top of the window which takes away some more distance. I don't think it could have been much more than 10 feet. This is inexplicable unless he sucked in some water right out of frame. He should have been damn near the surface when the video cuts out.

Second: looks like they were staying at the hotel that floats on the water. He was just diving and swimming around the room....at least from what I can tell.
Actually a sweet hotel for an exotic vacation but I cannot see how you drown doing what he did.

Here is a link to the photo gallery of the room.

Maybe he got caught under the platform somehow?

Ever notice it’s always white guys doing dumb stuff like this. Ever see a black guy skydiving or bungee jumping. Doesn’t happen!

The riskiest proposal ever for a black guy would be to propose without getting robbed or shot by another black guy. White guys have to manufacture danger to keep their lives exciting.

Upon seeing the hotel from the site you posted that is very possible. He had been down long enough when proposing to get short on breath and once he got snagged....well... Sad ending.

Eh, actually he was found not guilty. There is speculation that he killed her, but no proof.

I mean, my sympathy and everything. Terrible fluke death. But

And this bitch posts the video on FB?
I can't imagine doing this. fricking devastating for his family, and everyone involved. Some things just aren't meant to be posted all over social media. I'd say the love of your life's moment of death is one of them.

Educated guess is he was a victim of shallow water blackout. CO2 builds up in the bloodstream and you pass out before you know what hit you. Can happen to anyone, even the strongest swimmers. A Navy SEAL died that way a couple of years ago, just swimming laps in a pool.
