I have stuff scattered all over my damn house - all kinds of sports collectibles and memorabilia - guns and ammo (including ones that have been in my family for almost a hundred years) - stuff my Mother kept from my youth - this would be a hard choice, so I hope it never happens. I'm not sure I could choose - losing any of it would be extremely painful.

Assuming my Labs made it out ok it would be my Golf clubs. If the dogs were unaccounted for I'd go in after them

Damn...great question. I think I'd throw a couple guns over my shoulders (straps), stuff as many pistols as I could in my pockets and grab two of my best guitars.

Lots to think about but I would have to say guitars. I have a few that are rare and or special. Most important stuff is in a large fireproof safe.

My bourbon collection, which is pretty small anyway. Don't have much that can't be replaced. Let it burn.

Lemme call my 80 year old cousin who just lost everything to house fire caused by lightning last month.

Happened about 2am and if she didn’t have a grandson staying over she would not have made it out to stand barefoot in the rain 2 hours while fire department tried to save something, anything, for her. She was left with nothing but the nightgown she was sleeping in.

At 80 she has returned to work to make up what insurance does not cover.
