Urban TX continues to be a mystery to me. Austin had so much to lose when this crap started getting out of hand. But they went all bleeding heart and took the "heal the poor children, it's not their fault" route and let a bunch of commies take over their judicial system. Now this shite proliferates.

I would love to see the TX gov take over policing some of those areas (6th street in Austin, downtown Houston, etc). Using the state police and state AG's office to prosecute violent offenders like this clown. Not sure if that's possible in TX, but it's done wonders bringing New Orleans back from the brink of Mad Max level violence by subverting the role of retarded local leadership.

If the state doesn't step in, the local lefties running those cities will continue letting the savages take over.
