I just thought of another one:
Peking Garden. Mr. Ho made the strongest Zombie's in town. We used to go there and get the flaming Zombie's in the volcano fish bowl glasses.
CSB: A bunch of us were there one night drinking zombies before we hit the Tigerland bars and at another table were some dudes who were shite faced and starting to become really obnoxious. Mr. Ho, being the gentle little man that he was, tried nicely to get them to settle down.
It was working. One guy got really irate, stood up, and got in Mr. Ho's face. Our whole group of guys, probably 6-7 of us got up and came to Mr. Ho's defense. We actually backed the guy down and got them to leave.
After that, any time we showed up at Peking Garden, Mr. Ho would bring us free appetizers. Which was awesome.
In fact he asked us to help him move some heavy stove and oven equipment in his kitchen one night. After that he called on of the fellas "Chief Moova" and always gave us one free zombie.
Man, I'd forgotten about that place until now. Head rush.

Yep. It was near the top of the rotation for my mom's family when we'd want to meet at a restaurant rather than have grandma cook for everyone. Taste of China and Ryan's are like the only places I ever remember us going to eat in the restaurant

We did get to-go from Pancho's a fair amount since grandma lived right near there.

Not sure if you meant another bar because Earls has been open for years. For some reason they recently built a massive wooden fence that essentially ruined the nice patio facing Perkins. Some friends that work in BR bar scene recently said it's on its last leg
