Toyota truck based SUVs are the best vehicle investment an average joe can make. A five year old Fj cruiser that sold for $35,000 is worth $30,000 today.

I have a soft spot for early 90's GM performance-oriented shite boxes.

Sticking with GM, the Pontiac Firebird has always been better looking than the Chevrolet Camaro.

Chevy interiors look cheap

They are cheap...or cheaper. The interior of a Chevy is for functionality and basics. If you want the fully loaded Chevy with all of the bells and whistles, you buy the exact counterpart version of the GMC.

Minivans such as the Honda Odyssey are the best vehicles for families with 2-3 kids under the age of 7

Agreed.. i had a 2016 Impala as a company car a couple years back.. i’d never driven a Chevy before , and i was amazed at how cheap everything felt .. . every time i used the blinker or turned on the windshield wipers, i was afraid i’d break something off- and i’m Not some muscle-bound baw who doesnt know his own strength... Also everything in the vehicle was completely non-intuitive; just trying to figure out simple things required delving into the owners manual, and one time even a trip to the dealer... and the little things were bad, like I remember on the key fob, the ‘lock’ and ‘unlock’ buttons looked almost identical and you had to guess which was which.. i mean, how hard is it to get stuff like that right when Chevy’s been making vehicles for, what, 80 years or something?? Was completely unimpressed with the vehicle.. i’d Had Ford Fusions as company cars before and, while they aren’t exactly luxury vehicles or high performance, they were nice to drive and everything felt relatively solid.

I respect grown men from around this area (southcentral Louisiana) less if they don't drive a truck.

I test drove a Subaru Ascent Saturday. The touring edition.

I will be purchasing that vehicle this week as my conversion to soy boy will be complete.

Great vehicles but typically driven by the Alphabet people outside of the WRX.

That's actually a very rare car and quick as hell for it's day. Note the W41 stickers. Was built for showroom stock racing.

Edit-The turbo Grand Prix was pretty rare as well. Almost picked one up at the auction years ago.

IIRC, the Quad 4 held the Bonneville record for 4 cyl for awhile.

I'm aware. That W41 was a beast! 190hp out of a 4cylinder in 1991. Those W41 cams became sought after in the Quad4 aftermarket community.

SUV’s and trucks are Americans returning to the vehicles they really want: Large, RWD that can carry a bunch of stuff

As a brand, Lexus sucks and is completely unreliable.
